Meet Jacquelyn Fiorillo

Jacquelyn Fiorillo is an award-winning director, screenwriter, and adjunct professor at York College of Pennsylvania, where she teaches courses in television studio production and digital media. She holds an M.F.A. in Film and Television Production from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and a B.A. in Film and Television Production from DeSales University.

Jacquelyn’s creative work has been recognized by festivals such as Top Shorts and the Festigious International Film Festival, earning honors including Best First-Time Screenwriter, Best Comedy, Best Dark Comedy, and Best LGBT Film. Alongside her filmmaking career, she has served as a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Screenwriting at SCAD, where she developed lectures, mentored students, and supported them in crafting original scripts using industry-standard software.

In addition, Jacquelyn works as an intimacy coordinator and frequently lectures on intimacy in film, promoting safe, collaborative, and professional production environments. Her teaching philosophy centers on hands-on learning, storytelling fundamentals, and real-world production experience.
