York County Economic Alliance Expands Presence with New Office at Knowledge Park on York College of Pennsylvania’s Campus
The York County Economic Alliance (YCEA) is proud to announce relocation plans of its primary office operations to York College of Pennsylvania’s Knowledge Park, located at 427 Kings Mill Road, located in the City of York.
This move further strengthens the YCEA’s commitment to innovation, workforce development, and regional economic growth as well as its long-standing partnership with York College of PA. At the same time, YCEA will maintain its dedicated Downtown Inc office space, located at the Downtown Resource Center at 59 East Market Street, to support our City’s urban revitalization efforts and serving our Downtown small businesses.
The move reflects YCEA’s role as a countywide economic development organization and positions the organization within one of the region’s premier hubs for collaboration among education, industry, entrepreneurship, and workforce development.
"York County's future depends on our ability to connect talent, innovation, and opportunity," said Kevin Schreiber, President & CEO of the York County Economic Alliance. "The Knowledge Park represents exactly the kind of collaborative environment where those connections happen. By establishing our headquarters here while maintaining a strong presence in Downtown York, we are positioning YCEA to better serve businesses, entrepreneurs, municipalities, nonprofit organizations, and community partners throughout our county."
The Knowledge Park, located on the campus of York College of Pennsylvania within the City of York, was created to foster innovation, applied learning, and economic development through partnerships between higher education and industry. The facility brings together businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations in a collaborative environment designed to accelerate growth and create opportunities for students and employers alike.
"We are excited to welcome YCEA to this growing ecosystem of partners. Their leadership in economic development will create new opportunities for collaboration that benefit students, employers, entrepreneurs, and communities throughout York County,” said Dr. Thomas Burns, President of York College of Pennsylvania.
The relocation will provide YCEA with enhanced opportunities to collaborate with York College students and faculty, engage with fellow Knowledge Park tenants (including MANTEC, JDB Engineering, Dataforma, WellSpan, and the J.D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship directly across the street), and support emerging initiatives focused on entrepreneurship, workforce development, business attraction, and innovation.
As part of its relocation, YCEA will sell its current office building at 140 Roosevelt Avenue to Community Progress Council (CPC). The move and sale are anticipated to coincide in December 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for both countywide organizations and providing each with new office space to support its mission and service to York County.
