Accreditation and Membership

York College of Pennsylvania is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission) www.msche.org. York College of Pennsylvania's accreditation status is Accreditation Reaffirmed. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on June 22, 2017, was to reaffirm accreditation status. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation (candidate status) activities for institutions of higher education, including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission’s geographic area of accrediting activities is throughout the United States.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) is an institutional accreditor recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE). The Commission provides opportunities for current students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and members of the public to file a complaint. Program Accreditations and Licensure

Licensure pass rates for the last three years are as follows:

In addition, YCP offers a program in Nuclear Medicine, for which graduates are certified by exam, which in turn makes them eligible to be licensed; and a program in Radiography, for which graduates become registered. Certification and registration pass rates for these programs are as follows.

Nuclear Medicine 

Two tests are available to students in the Nuclear Medicine program, the NMTCB and ARRT.
