Chad W Gleissl

Sergeant Gleissl began his career at York College with Campus Safety in 2020 as a patrol officer. In 2022, Gleissl was promoted to patrol sergeant. 

Before joining York College, Gleissl served as a Campus Police Officer at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and as a Public Safety Officer at Northampton Community College. Sergeant Gleissl's journey into campus law enforcement was preceded by four years with the Dorney Park Patrol, where he gained valuable public safety experience. 

During his time at York College of Pennsylvania, Sergeant Gleissl was honored with an international award from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) for innovations in community-oriented policing. Chad Gleissl has a strong passion for community policing and crime prevention. Sergeant Gleissl considers serving the students, staff, faculty, and the general public at York College of Pennsylvania to be a privilege. He looks forward to continuing this work for many years to come.
