Michael Doweary, CPA, EA

Michael Doweary is a proven financial and strategic leader with extensive experience in complex financial management. As Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer, he oversees York College's financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and investment management.

Doweary most recently served a five-year tenure as Receiver for the City of Chester, Pennsylvania, where he stabilized the city's financial operations and implemented critical fiscal controls. He previously served as Business Administrator for the City of York and has extensive private sector experience.

A York College alumnus and former Board of Trustees member, Doweary brings both personal passion and professional expertise to his role. He holds a Master of Business Administration from York College of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Penn State University.
