Harrisburg Young Professionals recognizes two York College alumnae as top 20 in their 20s

Two York College of Pennsylvania alumnae will be recognized as Harrisburg Young Professionals 20 in their 20s during a November 8 ceremony. Allison Dobstetter ‘17 and Molly Thate ‘21 will be presented with the awards, which celebrate 20 rising young professionals who are making a significant impact in their communities and workplaces.

Allison Dobstetter, a marketing graduate, is a Senior Associate Brand Manager at The Hershey Company, where she works on its iconic brands. Originally from New Jersey, she decided to plant roots in Central PA after graduating from the College. She volunteers her time on the marketing committee for the Central PA Chapter of the American Marketing Association and serves as vice president of York College’s Alumni Board of Directors.

A Human Services graduate, Molly Thate is a Research Project Manager at Penn State College of Medicine, where she works to support critical research endeavors. She said that “being part of an institution that drives groundbreaking discoveries and advances in healthcare is incredibly rewarding.” Thate spends her time volunteering for nonprofit organizations like Girls on the Run, Junior Achievement, and Habitat for Humanity, because they all share a common goal of creating a safe and welcoming space for individuals while helping them build a strong foundation.
