The softball team heads to Newport News, Virginia, to participate in the Christopher Newport Pod. The Spartans will face the host Captains in their opening round game on Thursday afternoon at 4:30 pm. The Spartans will play their second game in the double elimination bracket on Friday with the schedule to be determined by Thursday's results. York earned its way to their second NCAA Tournament in the last three years thanks to winning the MAC Commonwealth tournament championship two weeks ago.

The #10 Spartan women's lacrosse team tangles with former Capital Athletic Conference foe Salisbury in the third round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday in Lexington, VA. The Spartans, who captured their second straight MAC Commonwealth championship two weeks ago, earned their way to the third round thanks to an 8-6 win over Stevens in last Sunday's second round. The Spartans and Sea Gulls will be joined at the Washington & Lee regional by the host Generals and the Gettysburg Bullets. All four teams are ranked inside the IWLCA Top 10 as Washington & Lee is second, Salisbury is fourth, Gettysburg is ninth and York is tenth.
