YORK, PA – The York College Athletic Department is proud to announce the 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame Class, one of the largest in school history.

The induction ceremony happened during Homecoming and Family weekend on Saturday, October 4, at the Wyndham Garden in York.

The 36th class of inductees includes track and cross country standout Tim Hartung; women’s basketball stars Brittany (Hicks) Lamb and Kristen (Haley) Teah, along with their longtime coach Betsy Witman; and women’s lacrosse leaders Katie Vautier and Leah (Schultz) Masciantonio. In addition, Kim (Wayson) Peck, a 2024 inductee, was also formally recognized during the event.

Hartung remains one of the most accomplished student-athletes in York College history, earning seven NCAA Division III All-America honors in cross country and track and field. A two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, Hartung captured 15 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) titles and set a standard of excellence both on the course and in the classroom.

Lamb and Teah were integral to the most successful era in Spartan women’s basketball, helping the team to an 86–29 record, two CAC championships, and multiple NCAA Tournament appearances. Lamb is York’s only two-time WBCA All-American, finishing her career with 1,589 points and 990 rebounds. Teah, a four-time All-CAC honoree and 2010–11 CAC Rookie of the Year, concluded her career with 1,548 points, ranking among the program’s all-time leaders in scoring and rebounds.

Witman, who retired following the 2024–25 season, is York’s all-time winningest women’s basketball coach with a 443–283 record (.610). Under her leadership, the Spartans won two CAC titles, made four NCAA Tournament appearances, and advanced twice to the Sweet 16. A five-time CAC Coach of the Year, Witman guided numerous student-athletes to All-American and All-Region recognition.

Vautier and Masciantonio helped establish York as a national contender in women’s lacrosse, leading the program to its first NCAA Tournament appearances and postseason victories. Vautier, a three-time All-CAC and All-Region selection, became one of the top defenders in program history and earned IWLCA All-America honors in 2013. Masciantonio, a four-time All-CAC honoree, was known for her versatility and leadership, finishing her career with 175 points and ranking among the program’s all-time leaders in goals, draw controls, and free-position goals.

The 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame induction will celebrate the remarkable achievements and lasting impact of these individuals on York College athletics and the broader Spartan community.
