York College of Pennsylvania has once again been recognized as one of the most transfer-friendly colleges in the nation, earning a place on Phi Theta Kappa’s 2025 Transfer Honor Roll.

This marks the eighth consecutive year the College has received this prestigious national distinction, which highlights institutions that demonstrate excellence in developing innovative pathways to support community college transfer students.

Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society, selected 251 institutions this year for the Honor Roll based on data submitted through PTK Connect, including transfer admissions practices, cost of attendance, campus life, recruitment strategies, and student satisfaction.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be recognized on the PTK Transfer Honor Roll for the eighth year in a row,” said Sueann Robbins, Director of Graduate and Transfer Admissions. “This honor reflects how dedicated we are at YCP to helping transfer students succeed. Our Transfer Resource Team, from Admissions to Financial Aid to Academic Advising, works together every step of the way to make the process as seamless and supportive as possible.”

The consistent recognition reflects York College’s strategic commitment to supporting transfer students through personalized guidance, streamlined credit evaluations, and strong partnerships with community colleges.

“Being named to the Transfer Honor Roll for eight straight years is a testament to the inclusive, student-centered culture we’ve built at York College,” said Brian Hazlett, Vice President of Enrollment Management. “We understand the unique needs of transfer students and are proud to offer them a clear, welcoming path to achieving their educational and career goals.”

York College will be featured in Phi Theta Kappa’s publications and media channels as part of the 2025 Honor Roll.

This ongoing recognition underscores York College’s mission to make quality, affordable education accessible to all students, no matter where their journey begins.
