The York College Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026 was formally inducted during Homecoming Weekend on October 3.
The six-member class featured one contributor and five student-athletes, which included soccer standouts Aaron Beale and Melanie Glessner, longtime administrator Scott Guise, cross country and track star Jessica (Miller) Lincoln, and lacrosse standouts Tyler Hutson and Erica (Mulford) Schuck.
Beale, a First Team All-American, was a standout defender on a unit that posted 49 shutouts and allowed just 0.62 goals per game, captured four-straight Capital Athletic Conference titles, and compiled an overall record of 64-16-11 (.764 win pct.) from 2010-13.
Glessner led Division III in save percentage (.941) in 2012 and earned All-American honors, while leading the Spartans to a pair of conference crowns throughout her decorated career.
Guise served as the Director of Athletic Communications for 30 years before passing away in December of 2025 following a courageous four-year battle with colorectal cancer. He spent three decades shaping the story of Spartan athletics, ensuring every team and student-athlete got the recognition they deserved, while approaching every task with precision, humility, and a genuine love for the work.
By the end of his career, Hutson held the records for the most points (286) and goals (206) in men’s lacrosse history. He helped lead the program to its first NCAA postseason appearance and victory while garnering three All-American selections.
Lincoln remains the only Spartan female cross country runner to qualify for the NCAA Championships, a feat she accomplished twice, and is still the only two-time NCAA All-Region performer in program history. On the track, she compiled five individual conference titles spread across the 3K, 5K, and 10K to go along with 10 individual all-conference honors.
Schuck became just the second player in York women’s lacrosse program history to reach the 200-point mark for her career and the third to eclipse 150 career goals. She earned Second Team IWLCA All-American honors and was one of three individuals to earn All-Region honors three or more times.
The 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held Saturday, October 3, in Yorkview Hall on the campus of York College.
