York College of PA Theatre Students Present ‘Performance for an Audience of One’ via Zoom on April 7 and 8
March 31, 2022 On the VergeYork College of Pennsylvania students enrolled in the theatre course Performance in Practice will present “Performance for an Audience of One,” a medley of short, one-person plays created in the class, at 7 p.m., April 7 and 8, via Zoom. The show can be accessed on the YCP Theatre Program’s YouTube Channel.
Participating students are Theatre majors and minors at York College. They will perform their own plays, which they wrote and created for just one audience member at a time. Zoom will provide an intimate and personal experience for both audience members and performers. The pieces, which are five minutes in length, run the gamut and include shows based on personal experience, shows that incorporate singing and dancing, and shows based around fictional characters like gothic storytellers or wrongly accused criminals.
The audience should note that there are content warnings for adult language and emotionally charged topics.
