York College of PA's Graham School of Business to Host Members 1st President and CEO on April 12

York College’s Graham School of Business Speaker Series will welcome George Nahodil, President and CEO of Members 1st Federal Credit Union, at 2 p.m., April 12, in the Willman Business Center’s Weinstock Lecture Hall. His talk, “Keeping Up with the Culture Club,” is open to the public free of charge. Nahodil’s visit will coincide with a number of activities marking “Members 1st Day” on the York College campus.

As a $6 billion credit union, Members 1st has nearly 60 branch locations across eight counties in Central PA, over 500,000 members, and more than 1,100 associates. For nearly 17 years, Nahodil held the role of Executive Vice President of Retail Delivery, Public Relations and Marketing for Members 1st until his promotion to President and CEO in late 2017.

Nahodil holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Clarion State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut. He formerly served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for TransUnion and Comptroller of the city of Mount Vernon, NY. He also previously served as a New York state high school teacher.

Nahodil is a current board member for the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and a founding member of the Harrisburg Hilton Hill Society. He has held previous board positions with the CrossState Credit Union Foundation, Better Business Bureau, HACC Foundation, D.R.E.A.M. Partnership, and Palmyra School District Foundation.

Throughout his career, Nahodil has been presented with various awards due to his contributions to the success of the credit union’s economic growth and stability, the credit union movement, as well as the betterment of the Central Pennsylvania community. Some of his recognitions include the CrossState Credit Union Association’s William W. Pratt Lifetime Achievement Award and Midstate Power Player, Game Changer: Most Admired CEO, as well as Executive Management Award
