Zac Track, Episode 1: Will You Accept This Spartan?

October 13, 2020 Zac Clark '06, former York College student-athlete and current cast member on "The Bachelorette."

Hey Spartans, Brigette here—York College Alumni Relations staff member by day and Bachelor(ette) blogger by night. 2020 didn’t just teach us to expect the unexpected, it redefined it. With surprises at every turn, we are all looking for something to look forward to. Enter Zac Clark ‘06 with the story we didn’t know we needed.

Zac will begin his journey to find love on this season of The Bachelorette, premiering tonight (Oct. 13, 2020). Whether or not you’re a fan of the ABC Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise, we can all agree that Spartans support one another. That’s why we’re kicking off “Zac Track”—a blog series following Zac’s reality television adventure to find love. It may not be Clare Crawley, but who doesn’t love a second chance? Join us in cheering on our fellow Spartan! Finally, something to look forward to every week!

Who is Zac Clark, you ask?

Zac graduated from York College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. A student-athlete, he played for the baseball team during his time at YCP.

While his original plans were to pursue a career in sports, Zac’s personal journey to sobriety inspired him to follow a different path. Three years ago in 2017, Zac and his business partner Justin Gurlund founded their own recovery center to help others, Release Recovery

You can learn more about Zac before his journey to find love begins by taking a peek at his ABC Bachelorette profile, and don’t forget to tune in tonight to see him on your screen! (ABC,8:00 p.m. EDT). Follow him on Instagram @zwclark and show your support on social media with #TeamClarky.

I think Chris Harrison said it best when he said to prepare for “the most dramatic season ever!”
