If you like learning by doing — getting on air, working in digital video production, writing news copy — you’ve found the right place.

Imagine if you could apply for a job after graduation and be able to tell a radio or television station, “Yes, I’ve used that before.” That’s the York College approach — we give you exposure to audio, radio, and digital video production, news gathering and reporting, copywriting, announcing, and field and control room equipment. It provides a strong foundation for broadcast communications jobs, a corporate career, or a future in digital filmmaking and video production.

York College's Mass Communication degree program is ranked #39 in the United States by the Broadcast Education Association (BEA). The BEA has also recognized our program as the #8 Top Winning Audio Program in the country.

During your time as a YCP undergraduate student, you'll use our state-of-the-art equipment and studios, all while receiving guided instruction from professors with real-world experience.

Today’s marketing and communications professionals face a different set of challenges than previous generations.
