July 17–October 3, 2025 | Gallery Hall
Opening Reception: Thursday, July 17, 5–7 p.m.

"A Light in the Dark" is a solo exhibition by Maggie Moran, a Brooklyn-based artist who spends her days working in the corporate artworld and her nights in the studio making the paintings that she will be bringing to York. Maggie left York, PA, for New York more than a decade ago, but community members may remember her as Creative York's former Gallery Director (though it was called York Arts back then). She was also one of the core crew members that developed Wayne White's FOE installation at Marketview Arts in 2014. We are excited to bring her back to York to exhibit her own work in that same space. Please join us for the opening on Thursday, July 17, to give Maggie a warm York homecoming, celebrate her success in the NYC artworld, and see the work she has been making.

October 2025–January 2026 | Gallery Hall

February–March 2026 | Gallery Hall

The YCASE Finalist Exhibition features artworks from each participating school that are considered exceptional by jurors, and a select number of these pieces are chosen to receive awards.
