At YCP, fitness is for everyone.

Whether you are just starting your physical fitness journey or you're a veteran athlete, we've got opportunities to 'fit' your needs.

Stop by the desk in the fitness center to pick up suggested workout programs or sign-up for a group exercise class. Prefer to pick up a game with your friends? Our equipment rental desk has lots of options for students to check out. All you need is your student ID!

Program Information

This fitness program is designed to build muscle and cut fat in the most efficient way possible. The Sprint 8 Challenge is comprised of eight 30-second intervals, with 1:30 of rest time in between, three days a week for eight weeks. The Sprint 8 Challenge runs March 16-May10. Sign up for the Challenge on IMLeagues.com/ycp or our YCP Rec App.

  • Sign up for the Sprint 8 Challenge on IMLeagues.com or the YCP Rec App.
  • Do a Sprint 8 workout on one of the Matrix touch screen cardio machines in the Fitness Center.
  • After your workout, "check in" with a Fitness Center employee.
  • Repeat three days a week for eight weeks.
  • Conquer the Challenge!

With a Spartan ID you can check out the following equipment from the desk on the lower level of the GSFC.

  • Agility and air hockey equipment, basketballs and dodgeballs.
  • Floor hockey equipment, foosballs, football, frisbees
  • Lawn games (Cornhole, ladder golf, kan jam, etc.)
  • Pinnies, racquetball equipment and soccer balls
  • Table tennis equipment
