The York College of Pennsylvania Presidential Research Fellowship Program is an academic initiative designed for exceptional students who want the most out of their college experience.
Fellows receive a four-year full-tuition and fees scholarship — but that's just the start of the benefits of this exclusive, academically challenging, and rewarding program.
Program Benefits
Presidential Research Fellows are part of the York College Honors Program. With a focus on independent research, students work with a community of scholars and innovators within our college community and beyond to achieve their dreams.
The York College of Pennsylvania Presidential Research Fellowship Program allows students to present at research conferences, earn a full-tuition scholarship, and design an original research project.
Work Closely with a Faculty Mentor
A faculty mentor for research is a professor who shares your research interests and has expertise in your discipline. The student-mentor relationship is potentially one of the most important relationships in your academic career.
Design an Original Research Project
Design an original research project with other research fellows that will contribute new knowledge or new expression to a field of study.
Participate in Interdisciplinary Learning Opportunities
Participate in interdisciplinary “high impact” learning opportunities—you will obtain a deeper learning of how your major relates to others, and how your research impacts the world.
Submit to Journals and Conferences
With the support of program directors and a faculty mentor, submit to peer reviewed journals, present at research conferences, and share your work with the college community.
