Employee Parking Services

York College provides designated employee parking and gate privileges to ensure reliable, dedicated access to faculty and staff lots near your primary work locations. Standard employee permits are complimentary and issued on a four-year cycle. Explore the guide below for quick steps on permit registration, temporary rental passes, and gate credentials.

Faculty & Staff Permit Policy

Employee parking permits must be displayed hanging from the vehicle’s rearview mirror whenever parked on campus.

Log into the My YCP portal (my.ycp.edu) and launch the My Parking application to request a permit or update registered vehicle details

Employees who drive secondary or family vehicles to campus must list all license plates in their My Parking account. You may transfer your single hangtag between your registered vehicles.

An employee permit is assigned exclusively to the individual staff member and registered vehicle. Permits may not be shared, sold, or transferred to spouses, partners, children, or enrolled students.

On-Campus Parking - by Permit Only

Anyone wishing to park a vehicle on the York College campus, including students, faculty, staff, guests, and visitors, must obtain a parking permit and display it in the vehicle when parked on campus.

  • Visitors/Guests: Apply for a visitor permit online. A printable permit will be emailed to you for display on your vehicle's dashboard. You may also apply in person at the Campus Safety office or Campus Information Center.
